Fabulous parrot parlor lamp! Finished with a polychrome (multicolored) painted surface. Considered a "mood" lamp as the little cage the parrot is holding will hold a lower wattage bulb and will be filtered by some sort of an inner ring inside the cage. Marble ball decoration. Stamped "Pat. Ap&d For" on the stem the parrot is perched on. T is also a number on the bottom that is unclear but something like 3539. Lamp measures 15 inches high and 8.5 inches at it's widest, the colorful parrot itself measures by itself 7 1/4" high x 7 1/4" from tail to beak. The hanging lamp shade measures 3 1/4" wide at the base. Brass colored metal that is very heavy, cast iron. This lamp is fabulous and displays with tremendous nostalgia and antique charm! Due to safety issues I recently had this lamp rewired so all you have to do us plug in and enjoy!
